The press materials may be used only in conjunction with a book review that includes the title of the book and the corresponding copyright. Images must not be passed on to third parties. Graphic modification of the images and storing images in electronic systems for any other purpose than the book discussion/review is prohibited.

To receive high-resolution standalone images and for any other form of use (advertising or commercial purposes), please contact press@birkhäuser.com with a brief outline and publication date of your planned feature, and the name of the publication the feature will appear in. This may require the express approval of the authors/photographers and gestalten and the payment of royalties for the use of the image. 

Scanning images from our books or taking photographs or videos of them is not permitted under any circumstances. We reserve the right to invoice for any unauthorized publications.
